Classes begin January 19th.
Streaming Begins March 6th.
This December, we produced our first fully streaming musical. The fourteen brave and talented children who created that splend-tastic, sparklejingley hour+ of digital joy paved the way for our next undertaking:
“HONK, JR!”
This modern musicalization of The Ugly Duckling won the prestigious Oliver Award for Best Musical in London in 2000. Strangely, it has not made its way to Broadway, though often performed by enthusiastic theatre groups across America. Megan directed it for Alma d'arte Charter High School in 2006, and toured it to hundreds of appreciative children in the area. It is a terrific musical for this moment, as it is mostly upbeat and humorous, but it also addresses some important questions.
How do we treat others who are "Different?"
How do we overcome feeling isolated or excluded?
Who will love us "Warts and All?"

Since April 2020, I have been licensing, producing, creating, editing, and performing in various theatre and music projects online with folks from LA to NYC. If you're not sure about trying a musical online, you can click here to see excerpts and learn about how we created our recent production of ELF, or click the image below to see the Halloween scenes we created.
